"Give Me a Full Length Mirror" is a full room installation that includes a 3 panel center piece, video projection, and soundscape to create an immersive environment that viewers could walk into. This work uses shower curtains as a surface to investigate ideas related to the veil, domesticity, and public vs private spaces. This collection of objects and images contemplates the desire to understand your own body as a feminine person and the ways women take up/make space.
"Give Me a Full Length Mirror" was shown in Gallery 003 in the School of Art & Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign in October 2023.
